CTG Youth Program Mission Statement

To research and propose measures that improves conditions affecting at risk youth

To develop and implement movements and initiatives for leadership, employment, and community enrichment that includes the participation and management of youth

To develop an internship and apprenticeship which both prepare youth for (and can help secure) employment and business ownership

Career development opportunities help young people position themselves for the adult world. They help them cultivate the skills they will need for success and set goals for themselves, engaging them with on the job and classroom training at a critical time of their development.

By joining the CTG Community Network and our CTG Youth Program, you are forming strategic partnerships with other organizations, businesses, and schools you can connect the young people you serve with additional human and financial resources — including mentors, tutors and technology. You will also introduce students to new career and educational pathways and give them opportunities to practice professional skills and impact local economic development.
